(Project Buddy Bears of NC) is a nonprofit organization based in North Carolina that creates handmade patchwork teddy bears. Volunteers donate these soft toys to police officers, firefighters, and family services to comfort children facing stressful, traumatic, or crisis situations. [1, 2, 3, 4]

In support of this effort, our Winston store has "finger pin cushions for sale!" 100% of the proceeds go to the local Project Buddy Bear group to support their mission. 

HOW TO HELP:

✂️ Join the Team: No advanced sewing skills required. Anyone who wants to help stuff or piece bears together is welcome.

🧷 Donate Supplies: The group is always looking for quilting cotton fabric stashes to keep production going.

🪡 Financial Donations: Funds directly help purchase the necessary batting and stuffing to build the bears.
