Learning to use EQ8 software
Have you ever wished you could see a quilt pattern completed in the fabric you have chosen before you cut that fabric and piece the quilt? Would you like to play around with various quilt blocks and design your own quilt? Come join us as we learn to use the powerful software package Electric Quilt 8 and become the designer of your unique quilts. We will begin with the basics to get you comfortable with the software and build on those skills each session. You will be able to choose from a library of quilt blocks or create your own, add fabric from the files in the software, or those available from various manufacturers’ websites, or scanned images, get cutting instructions and fabric requirements from your completed designs, try out various quilting motifs, and create a quilt that is uniquely yours. (Whew!!)
