Landscape quilt from a photograph

Description: Learn to use a photograph and develop a pattern for a landscape quilt. Using this pattern, you will develop a small quilt to replicate your picture in fabric.
Supplies: Photograph of your choice enlarged in black and white to the size you want the quilt (Staples can do this), Assorted fabrics in colors you want in the quilt (use your original picture for colors or go wild with color for a more abstract look), thread to blend with your fabrics for quilting or monofilament thread, a muslin base the approximate size of your photograph, tracing paper and pencils or marking tools, steam-a-seam or other fusible, fabric for border and backing and batting (if we get that far) .
DESCRIPTION:
Learn to create a landscape quilt. This will be a small wall hanging that we will complete in this 6 hour class. Maybe you would like to make a mountain scene or a beach scene or rolling farmland scenes. It could represent any season you wish. No previous landscape quilting required.
