Friday May 9th 10am-4pmA stitch book for everyone 10am-4pm (combined with Top of the line class)
A Stitch book for Everyone:
This month our TOP of the line club requested we train how to make a stitch book for your sewing machine…but we thought we would open this class up to everyone. You can attend in person or by ZOOM (if you want Zoom, you will need to let me know)
A stitch book for your sewing machine serves as a visual reference for all the stitches your machine offers, helping you explore and understand their characteristics. It is a sewn out version of every stitch your machine does. It allows you to see how stitches look on fabric, making it easier to choose the right one for your project. Additionally, it can inspire creativity and help you become more familiar with your machine's features.
Do you know how many stitches your machine sews and what they look like? Let us help you create a stitch book. Your own personal reference manual that will be used ongoing to help you find and sew out all those stitches.

5 Reasons You Need to Sew a Stitch Book
1. Great Reference Tool – Use the sewn Stitch Book as a reference when looking for a perfect stitch for your next project.
2. Stitches Look Better Stitched Out – Seeing the stitches in thread versus on the sewing machine screen is truly night and day. If you don’t believe it, stitch out three rows of decorative stitches and see for yourself.
3. Get More Comfortable With Your Machine – When stitching out all the built-in stitches, you will start to use the function buttons to make this job go faster and smoother. Enjoy the pattern end functions, sewing without the foot control, and how the locking stitches work so threads do not come loose.
4. Find New Stitches – Find new stitches you didn’t even know you had. Many students tell me that they found some new favorite stitches they didn’t know they had after completing their stitch book.
5. You Will Bond With Your Sewing Machine – I know this sounds cheesy, but trust me, you will! The two of you will have new friends that only this project with bringing out. A bond between you and your sewing machine is special beyond words.
