Comfort Cases Quilt drive Baby Quilt kit Cats N Glasses
On any given day, there are more than 390,000 children in foster care in the United States. Most of them are removed from their homes with little more than the clothes on their backs. If they do have any personal belongings, they are given a trash bag in which to carry them.
Comfort cases provides backpacks with essential items plus a small quilt for these children.
We support Comfort cases with both the donation of items and and quilts. When we submit the donations, we are able to identify the area (local) where the donations should be directed.
Every year Stacy Lee does a quilt drive. This year the quilt drive is happening during April and May.
This kit is sized to make 1 quilt top in the pattern shown and provided. The quilt size is approx 30 x 40 for a baby.
Kit does not contain backing or batting. Your support in making these quilts is so appreciated!

Option #2 Purchase the kit signifying you would like it donated back to Sew Original. You receive a small discount. Sew Original will have someone construct the ki tduring our Comfort Cases events! Sew original will then supply backing and batting quilting and binding the qulit before donation!
Option #3 You can purchase the kit and commit to construct then donate to Sew Original for Comfort cases. Although this drive ends May 30th 2026, we make kits for Comfort cases all year long! Join us it's fun and a most worthy cause!
