CLASS DESCRIPTION:
This class is created for those who want to learn how to bind your quilted project - beginners or those who have been quilting a long time. Any time you take a class you are sure to come away with some nugget of information.
This class will cover what we think of as regular binding, bias binding and flanged binding. Students will practice each technique by sewing binding on a pre-quilted sample that is 12" x 15". Your finished samples could be placemats or small table topper.
CLASS SUPPLIES:
3 quilted sandwiches that are 12" x 15" - These will be your samples that you practice each technique on
4 - 1/4 yard pieces of fabric to make your binding with - 1/regular, 1/bias, 2/flanged
rotary cutter, mat, ruler
sewing machine and general sewing supplies
