Italy Textile Trek Fall 2009
We are planning an unforgettable trip to Italy in September 2009. Our
9-10 day journey will include Rome, with a tour of the Vatican Museums,
The Sistine Chapel through Tuscany, home of the famous Chianti wines,
lined with palaces and patrician mansions. We will continue to Pisa to
see the famous leaning tower. In Florence we will see Michelangelo’s
original statue of David. In Venice we will visit St. Mark’s square,
dominated by it’s magnificent Basilica, overlooked by the great Clock
Tower. Our tour will be specially designed just for us to include visits to
local fabric, lace and button stores!! We will have the same fabulous
tour guide that we had in Switzerland. If you are interested, please fill
out the form and send it to either store. AAA will give us a definite
price 12 months ahead of time. In order for them to begin the planning
process a $15 per person deposit is required.
